The glassblower mould collection of the Müller-Blech family can certainly be called unique. It comprises about 15,000 moulds from two centuries. A real treasure for INGE-GLAS® MANUFAKTUR, because these shapes are still used in production today. Almost all the moulds come from Lauscha in Thuringia, the home of company founder Heinz Müller-Blech. A not inconsiderable proportion of the collection has always been family-owned. Each generation passed the valuable pieces on to the next.
Today there are only a few glassblowers in southern Thuringia and Upper Franconia who produce mouth-blown glass Christmas decorations according to old tradition. All the more reason to consider the importance of the extensive collection. Every piece that leaves our production is thus a valuable German craft tradition.
